About this project

Construction at 1-11 Wellesley Street is progressing steadily.  Two of the three home foundations are now complete, and the project has moved from site work into vertical construction.

Recent highlights:

• Two of the three home foundations are complete.
• The fire hydrant required for the site has been installed.
• Utility tie-ins for the site are complete.
• Temporary power has been installed to support ongoing construction.

Upcoming work:

• Pour the foundation for the third and final home.
• Continue framing on all three buildings.
• Finalize rough grading across the site.
• Complete remaining site infrastructure work.

Framing on the first home is already progressing quickly, and the other two homes will follow closely behind as their foundations are completed. Check back for updates as this project moves toward completion.

This is a Chapter 40B/L.I.P.  project in which Habitat Greater Boston worked closely with a local architect to ensure the design complements the neighborhood and pays homage to the historic nature of the local architecture in Weston with colonial styles, gables, and front porches.

The site and landscape plans have been designed with input from a certified arborist to preserve as many healthy, existing trees as possible and also to provide a significant number of additional trees for replanting. These will help to replace any trees removed and provide visual screening from the street and the adjacent home.
