Group Volunteers
AN UPDATE TO OUR VOLUNTEERS
Starting March 1, 2021, we will begin welcoming group volunteers back to our Build Site. Because of COVID-19 requirements for social distancing, Build Days will be offered only to groups of no more than five participants.
At this time we are not accepting any individual volunteers. However, individual construction opportunities will resume shortly, please email volunteers@habitatboston.org for updates and more information.

Volunteer With Us
Group build days are a great opportunity for a company or group to involve their employees or members in a positive team-building activity. Your group will work alongside our construction team and partner families from 8:30am to 3:30pm on your build day to help construct Habitat houses. Group builds may be scheduled for single or consecutive days. Due to COVID-19, we are limiting build groups to five (5) volunteers on a build site per day. For safety reasons additional protocols have been implemented. All volunteers will be asked to review the protocols and complete a questionnaire. If your group has more than five (5) participants, please email us at volunteers@habitatboston.org to discuss alternatives!

What should I bring?
- Proper Dress: Wear comfortable clothing and expect to get dirty with spilled paint, dirt etc. Closed toe shoes are a must and layers in the wintertime are key as our homes are often not insulated or heated.
- Food and Drink: Bring any food or drink you will need for the day including water. Convenience stores are within driving distance but can be a far walk from some sites.
- Waiver of Liability: Sign the Waiver of Liability Form and bring this to the work site on the day of your build (please do not send these into the office).
- No Tools or Supplies Required: Habitat Greater Boston will provide all tools and building materials for your build day.
