Starting March 15, 2021, we will begin welcoming group volunteers back to our Build Site. Because of COVID-19 requirements for safety and social distancing, build days will be offered only to groups of five to ten participants.
Thank you for your support and dedication to Habitat Greater Boston families!
Volunteer With Us
Group build days are a great opportunity for a company or group to involve their employees or members in a positive team-building activity. Your group will work alongside our construction team and partner families from 8:30am to 3:00pm on your build day to help construct Habitat houses. Group builds may be scheduled for single or consecutive days. Due to COVID-19, we are limiting build groups to five to ten volunteers on a build site per day. For safety reasons additional protocols have been implemented. All volunteers will be asked to review the protocols and complete a questionnaire. Any group larger than five volunteers will be split between two houses on the same build site to maintain proper social distancing.
Explore the calendar below for Build Group Needed for an available group build date.
Complete and submit a group application.
A group build allows your business or organization to support the Habitat mission both financially and through hands-on effort. We request a donation to help raise funds needed to cover construction costs of preparation, materials, and supervisors’ time to make sure that your build day is a success. The following is the donation cost per group of 5 to 10 people per day:
Corporate / Business Groups: $2,500
Schools, faith communities, ad hoc groups of friends and family: $750
Thank you for choosing to volunteer with Habitat to help families break the cycle of poverty through homeownership.
