Katie's Story:
Katie has dreamt of running the Boston Marathon since arriving
in Cambridge six years ago to pursue an undergraduate degree at
Harvard. Born and raised in Miami, she has also seen firsthand
the impact that Habitat can have on communities in need of housing,
having participated in rebuilding projects after Hurricane Andrew.
Aside from running, Katie enjoys hiking, reading, and performing
classical music with community orchestras and chamber music groups.
She works with students at the David Rockefeller Center for Latin
American Studies at Harvard University and considers it a true
honor to be running for Habitat!
