American Dream Awards Breakfast
2008 American Dream Awards Breakfast
September 24, 2008, 8-10 am
The Wharf Room at the Boston Harbor Hotel
Each year, the American Dream Awards Breakfast
event raises needed funds to support Habitat Greater Boston's
work to eliminate poverty housing by building affordable homes
with very low-income families. Along with steady employment and
education, homeownership is one of the main components
of the American dream, and one of the most important goals for
long-term financial security. For many low-income families, Habitat
homeownership provides not only a safe and stable place to live, but
also a chance to break generational bonds of poverty.
The American Dream Awards are presented to men and women
who have dedicated their lives to addressing issues of injustuce in the Greater Boston community.
Corporate sponsorships begin at $3,500 for a table of ten. All proceeds benefit the home building
programs of Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston.
If you are interested in attending or sponsoring the event, please contact Duncan Remage-Healey at (617) 423-2223 or drhealey@habitatboston.org.
